CPAP training

On this #WorldHealthDay, we're celebrating HHA's incredible team of healthcare professionals that save lives every single day.

This team of 11 nurses and doctors have just received introduction training to the use of CPAP on the acutely unwell adult, hosted by our Haiti Healthcare Coordinator, Rob. CPAP is a device that helps to open the airways of the patient and is frequently used in lifesaving emergencies around the world. These are the first dedicated adult machines at HCBH hospital in Haiti, donated by a long standing friend of the hospital.

Healthcare professionals like this team are the backbone of health systems around the world. We're so grateful for everything they do to build a fairer and healthier world - you are all heroes.
