We’re passionate about providing life-saving care for the world’s most vulnerable in 3 ways:

Healthcare

Half of the world’s population lack access to essential health care.  We’re passionate about changing this by equipping and empowering locally lead community and facility based health projects in Haiti, Uganda and South Sudan.  Our health work includes supporting one of the leading hospitals in northern Haiti which we co-founded in 2007.

Disability Care

People with disabilities in developing countries are amongst the most vulnerable and marginalised, lacking access to health care, rehabilitation, education and other critical services.  We provide a range of life-transforming projects for people with disabilities through respite care, community and facility based rehabilitation, and advocacy.

Emergency Response

We work in fragile countries where war, political instability and natural disasters often threaten the most vulnerable.  Whether being at the forefront of Haiti’s earthquake response for people with Spinal Cord Injuries, providing emergency aid to South Sudanese refugees or fighting the Haiti Cholera epidemic, HHA has over 10 years of experience responding to a range of emergencies.
