We stand with Haiti

As we woke up to news of the assassination of the President of Haiti this morning, we are all in shock and saddened by this terrible event. This country we love so dearly has been facing unrest for quite some time now, and we ask you, our dear friends and family of HHA, to please keep Haiti and her people in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with the uncertainty of their future.

Hope Health Action stands with the people of Haiti at this time. We express our dearest sympathy for the current situation and pray for a fast and smooth recovery for the First Lady's injuries. 

Thank you to all who have reached out and let us know you are thinking of us and our team on the ground in Haiti. Please keep our staff and volunteers that are serving there in your prayers that they are kept safe, that the leadership of the hospital remains strong, that government stability is possible, that gang violence will cease, and that COVID will be contained.
